The 26th annual Dodge County Business Expo was a great success. The weather was pleasant enough for people to get out and travel, yet nippy enough to enjoy browsing through the many interesting and entertaining exhibits and business booths inside the Triton Gyms. The Expo was well attended and all the guests enjoyed visiting with the cheerful business and service persons representing their industry.
Over 90 local exhibitors were on display with their personnel on hand to inform and explain the many services and products on hand. The Messenger in partnership with the Expo committee produced the full color Dodge County Business Expo booklet which was mailed to 8,000 residents of Dodge County the week of the Expo, enabling everyone to be alerted of the event as well as providing all the businesses advertising in the booklet to reach each home in the county with their services.
The Triton FFA students served a $1.00 breakfast from 8 to 9:30am. The Rockin' Hep Cats provided musical entertainment from opening until 11am and Chris Rollo performed from 11am to 1pm. The Just For Kix kids performed at noon and a Kid's Carnival entertained the young ones with games and face painting, while Rookie the Clown made balloon figures. Food vendors were set up in the wrestling room from 10am to 2pm. Along with the vendors a health fair offered information and advice from medical personnel on a variety of health topics.
A big thank you to the Dodge County Business Expo Committee and the Triton School District for another successful year.
