Have you been wondering how past graduates are? I interviewed Ava Cummings, a senior in the class of 2024. I also interviewed Romina Medina, a senior in the class of 2025.
Ava Cummings graduated in Spring 2024 from Triton High School. She committed to Luther University for Track and Field and was studying communications. However, she recently transferred to Winona State to major in education. She went to Triton all four years of high school and was in FCCLA, BPA, and Track and Field. Ava says, “Track and Field gave me a family and so many memories I'll never forget.”
Romina Medina graduated in 2025 from Triton High School. She was both class and student council president, MHS vice president, link crew leader, and a Big Brother Big Sister member. Romina won the Excel Award, was homecoming queen, and prom princess. She was the Varsity Soccer captain and participated in Track and Field. Following high school, Romina is attending RCTC, and says, “What stuck to me the most, I think learning that even though it's scary to grow up, it's okay not to choose the same path as everyone else, god has a different plan for everyone.” Romina will never forget her senior year and taking it all in one last time with the class of 2025.
Overall, our past seniors are thriving and continuing with their education. They hope that if there's one thing you take from this interview, it's to be involved. Within the school, find your community and family, find your purpose.
