As Time Goes By, The Seniors Take Their Next Step

As the Triton 2025-2026 seniors are starting to apply to college, things are getting more complicated and stressful for them. To get some seniors' perspectives, we asked various questions about their year and high school experiences so far.

Senior Logan Skjeveland describes that his senior year so far has been “fun, freeing, but stressful.” Senior Ollie Akkerman says that their year has been “Enjoyable, relaxing, and melancholy.” When reflecting on extracurricular activities, senior Dora Chable explains that she is involved in “Earth and BPA, which have changed my high school experience by allowing me to practice my public speaking skills and help manage social anxiety.”

When asked what teacher or staff member had the most impact on them, Logan said that “Mrs. Goossens had the most impact on me because she is not only my advisor for BPA, but she also helps me discover more about myself.” Ollie said Mr. Wotherspoon helped them achieve the full vocal range that I wanted to be at. When asked what they gained from attending Triton that they would not have at another school, Dora said that “Triton has a lot of diversity in their students, along with how much help people could receive.” So do not forget to carry the lessons you have learned with you.
