Brian “Fuzzy” Bohlman passed away on October 8, 2024, after a more than 2-year battle with cancer.

Brian was born on May 5, 1958, to Lyle and DeLoris (Neuman) Bohlman in Owatonna. Brian grew up in Owatonna and graduated from OHS in 1976. He started his lifetime career as a meat cutter when he was a teenager working with Carl Adams at Adams Grocery Store. He worked for many grocery stores in Owatonna before spending more than 25 years working at the Byron Grocery Store. He ended his career working in Kasson at Hy-Vee. Brian was well known for processing deer for more than 45 years, which brought him so much happiness. He was known as the “Meat Man” and for his infectious smile (which was always on his face).

Brian was an avid fisherman and hunter; he looked forward to hunting each year and gave everything he had to get his deer. Camping and road tripping all over southern Minnesota with Naomi was his passion for the last 10 years. Brian was a kind and generous man who was always there to help when anyone asked. He especially was there for his kids when they needed him.

Brian married Angela DeGeus on November 18, 1989. They had two sons and were later divorced but remained good friends. On July 9, 2011, he married the love of his life and soulmate, Naomi Colmer-Anderson. They resided in Dodge Center and had an amazing marriage; they were truly meant to be together. During his battle with cancer, Naomi was by his side everyday as his cheerleader and support.

Brian is survived by his loving wife Naomi; father, Lyle Bohlman; sons, Jansan Bohlman and Jackson (Brian Darrington) Bohlman; brothers, Stuart (Angela) Bohlman, Leon (Lori) Bohlman; sister Cheryl (Ed Wurst) Bohlman; children by marriage Alex (Jenny) Anderson, Max Anderson, Madison Anderson; grandchildren, Jayce, Trinitee (Ben Roussopoulas), Tye, Skylee, Amelia, Robert, and Stanley; brothers in law, Roger (Lee) Stennes and Pete (Jane) Stennes.

He was preceded in death by his mother, DeLoris Bohlman, maternal and paternal grandparents, many aunts and uncles, and son by marriage Zach Anderson.
