Business Professionals of America Makes a Difference in Triton Students’ Lives

Posted

Business Professionals of America (BPA) is a club at Triton High School. Within BPA, there are over 90 different events and activities, with many members choosing to participate in at least one judged event.

When asked about their BPA activities, senior members Roselyn Liudahl and Ollie Akkerman had quite different answers, but both were insightful. Roselyn shared that she participates in “Visual Design Team” because she enjoys art. She also explained that she can help her team succeed because she already has strong art skills. On the other hand, Ollie said their activity was “Advanced Interview Skills.” They chose it because “it helps with interview skills in real life.”

BPA offers a variety of activities for students to choose from. Roselyn said that she had participated in Website Design Team in previous years. She explained, “It was fun and took a lot of time with my team to get it just right.” Ollie also said they had tried Website Design Team; however, their experience differed slightly. They said, “It was cool! It was a bit tiring, though.”

While BPA members may have different opinions and experiences, they all seem to agree on one thing: BPA is fun, helpful, and worth joining. For any students considering joining, BPA is a great opportunity to learn new skills and connect with others.
