The Kasson Mantorville FFA chapter is planning their Ag Day dinner for March 26th at the K-M High School commons. There will also be a large silent auction consisting of donations from the community and local businesses. The cost of the meal is a free will donation. The meal is also an appreciation for the support that local community members give to the FFA chapter and members.
This is just one of the fund-raising events the chapter hosts during the year to help support the local FFA. Some of these include the fall corn maze and the corn drive.
The Kasson Mantorville Future Farmers of America chapter is sixty-eight years strong this year. There are fifty members, which includes students from seventh thru twelfth grades. Two of the members, Ambra Andrist and Ella Aarsvold are Region 8 officers.
