Looking for donations to restock Larry's Fridge at the First Presbyterian Church in Claremont. Boxes are set up at local Claremont businesses and a front porch deck box at 211 Elm Street, where you may drop off donations for the food pantry. Items such as non-perishable food, canned goods, boxed meals and pantry staples. Fresh produce from your garden is welcome also. Other items such as toiletries, household needs, soap, shampoo, toilet paper and cleaning supplies. With cold weather coming there is also a need for coats, hats, boots, mittens or gloves, in new or gently used condition and all sizes.
A fundraiser community soup supper is being planned for October 5th from 4 to 7pm at the Claremont American Legion. A choice of soup, homemade dinner rolls with butter and a delicious dessert bar.
