Well, here comes springtime. A time of new growth, and a whole lot of projects around the house! Winter is a great time to think up all the things that can be done to make your living space a lot more fun, efficient and beautiful. For myself, I think about what I can change up by tearing out walls, painting, and planting. There's never a dull moment around here! As I get closer to being 70 years on this planet, I find there are things I would rather not do myself, mostly for safety's sake. Ladders, for instance. They can move when they are not supposed to. Or tilling up the gardens. That takes a lot out of me. And the sore muscles that come with the physical labor are sometimes not worth the fun I used to have doing so. So, what can we do about this?
What if, instead of hiring 4 different contractors for 4 different jobs, you could just hire one person to do it all? That would make those projects flow together more easily, and you only have to pay once! Sounds like a win/win to me.
Well, I have good news for those projects that have been waiting all winter to get done. There is a "New Guy in Town" that has a wealth of knowledge in many areas of expertise. His name is Josh Lee. He recently moved to the Kasson/Mantorville area, and is looking forward to working for you!
Some of the skills he has are carpentry, including things like repairs and finish carpentry to put the project all together, built in shelving, closet organizers, window trim and baseboards. Accent walls to beautify what is already there with wood, slats and shiplap give that special touch. Painting skills include drywall patching, caulking, mudding and taping, and giving texture to walls and ceilings for a fresh look. The floors he works with include wood, tile, laminate, and vinyl. Bathroom and kitchen renovations, door installs and touch ups, and light fixtures are all a part of his skills.
Let's head outside and see what can be built or updated there. Josh can build you a new deck or make repairs and additions to your existing deck. Need a new patio to sit on and watch the lazy days of summer pass by? He can do that. Siding and roof repair are also in his tool box of making your home shine.
Josh went to school in Rushford. He has 24 years of experience in doing all of the above jobs and more. For instance, he has 10 years of experience in framing alone. Some of his other interests are hunting, fishing, camping and four wheeling.
