Senior Spotlights

With the 2026 school year winding down, we asked two of our seniors for advice and memories that could guide future students.

Looking back: When asked what they’ll remember most from senior year, Norah highlighted her 2025–26 basketball season and Homecoming events, including the court and the powder puff game. Zae said, “My friends, if anything,” but also enjoyed bonding with his track teammates outside of school.

Advice for future seniors: Norah encourages taking as many concurrent classes as possible to get general education requirements done early and to stick with extracurriculars despite senior-year stress. “Graduating is super rewarding,” she said. Zae stressed prioritizing school first and trying new activities before senior year, since it gets busy. “You’re always a student first,” he said.

Excited for the future: Norah looks forward to earning a four-year degree in accounting and a summer internship at Ellingson. Zae is excited to attend college at Crown, run track, and pursue a five-year exercise science degree while working two jobs to save for school.

Happiest memories: Norah cherishes going to the Civic Center for basketball and starring as a Munchkin in her junior-year musical, The Wizard of Oz. Zae’s highlight was making it to sections in both the 110- and 300-meter hurdles—a major accomplishment.

If they could go back: Norah would revisit 7th grade to remind herself that friendships survive middle school drama and not to sweat the small stuff. Zae would go back to freshman year to focus more on school. His advice: “It’s not about having fun now; it’s about getting somewhere to have fun.”

These two seniors leave behind memories, lessons, and advice that will benefit Triton students for years to come.
