Humility

James 4:6

But he gives more grace, therefore it says God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.

We need to humble ourselves before God; we are all God's children, and we are all equal before his eyes. We are no better than anyone else. Humble yourself before all of the things. God blesses us with every day, all of God's nature, the beautiful birds, all of his animals, and all of these wonderful things we get to experience. One of my favorite things to do on a nice summer day is to sit outside, close my eyes, and listen to the beauty of nature blowing in the summer wind. Everything and everyone around us is of God's Glorious creation, and we must think of the whole picture as much more than ourselves.

Proverbs 3 5-6

"Trust in the lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will set your path straight."

For God loves us all equally in his eyes, and God understands us more than we understand ourselves. It is up to us to humble ourselves before God and others. Our best work is done by getting out of selfish human nature and putting others first. It is what Jesus did and wants for us, to help one another, with no motives and nothing attached. I have been so blessed to be helped and help others. This is how it works, and this is how we do God's work.

Always be so grateful for every day God gives you.

So, my dear friends, as we go through things in our journey of life, remember to humble ourselves and to always be grateful for Jesus Christ.

Remember to hug those kids today and never stop praying.
