Posted

Drew and Dustin Cook, owners of the Concord Store and Locker have organized the St. Jude's Children's Hospital Benefit for the fourth year. The drawing for the winners of the raffle was held February 19th at Wescon Lanes.

The ticket sales exceeded the expectations this year and a check for $15,176 will be donated to the St. Jude's Children Hospital.

A few donors have been recognized for contributing over $500 and also by donating back their prize winnings to the benefit. These include Far-Gaze Farms of Northfield, Van Zuilen Farms of West Concord, Holly J Burow, CPA, LLC of West Concord, Roger Ellingson, Brandon Gochnauer, Jana Groski and Erik Gunhs.

Bruce Johnson and Jim Groski joined in the spirit of giving by also donating their winnings back.

A shout out to Nora Cook who has shown incredible generosity by donating over $1,400, the entirety of her homemade bracelet sales, to St. Jude's. You can still pick up one of her beautiful creations at the Concord Store and Locker to support this great cause.

Also thanks is due to Wescon Lanes for their ongoing support of St. Jude's. Their commitment as a host for both ticket sales and the final raffle drawing makes the event possible years after year.
