Several Triton FFA students competed in Region IIIV Contests on March 9th in Winona, participating in Agronomy, Farm Business Management, Vet Science, Ag Mechanics, and Ag Sales. Students delivered strong performances across events.
The Ag Sales team earned 1st place—its first time advancing to state. Team members included Broden Dickie (2nd individually), Neven Horejsi (4th), Jason Wolf (5th), and Wes Wegner (6th).
The Vet Science team places 6th overall. Team members were Autumn Froyum, Thea Horejsi, Samantha Sexton, Brinley Dickie, and Sydney Rysavy. Autumn Froyum placed 5th individually and will advance to state.
The Ag Mechanics team placed 6th overall and included Noah Kasper, Brayden Munnikuysen, Aiden VanZuilen, and Colton Nelson.
The Farm Business Management team placed 10th overall and consisted of Hunter Hamm, Preston Erler, Laryssa Erler.
The Agronomy team participant was Brady Staub.
The Region IIIV Banquet will be held on March 30 in Zumbrota. Proficiency Award recipients included Brady Staub (Gold, Diversified Crop Management), Emma Kruckeberg (Gold, Small Animal Production and Care), Aiden VanZuilen (Silver, Ag Mechanics and Fabrication), and Sydney Rysavy (Silver, Goat Production). The first place Ag Sales team of Wes Wegner, Broden Dickie, Jason Wolf and Neven Horejsi will be recognized along with the second overall individual in Ag Sales Broden Dickie
