Adrianna Kunz, was recognized at a ceremony at the Triton Library on May 1st for her accomplishments as a wrestler. Adrianna is a two-time Minnesota State High School League champion and the mayors of Claremont, Dodge Center and West Concord awarded her a plaque and declared May 1st Adrianna Kunz day in honor of her achievements.
Adrianna is the second Triton wrestler to place first at state and won the title in 2025 wrestling in the 100# weight class and in 2026 wrestling in the 112# weight class. She has been a two year varsity starter for the Triton varsity team and a Perfect Practice Attendance Award recipient (2026). She is also the 14u USA Women's National Freestyle Championships Runner-up (2026). Adrianna has a High School record of 102 wins and 19 losses with 80 pins in her career. Her Career High School Record is 32-3 vs girls and 66-20 overall, she holds a 97% bonus rate against female opponents (dominant) and has outscored female opponents 244-29 in individual matches.
Family, friends, coach, school staff and local community members were on hand to congratulate her for her hard work and dedication in her athletic prowess. Adrianna gave a heartfelt thank you to all who showed up and supported her.
