Saturday October 19th, the West Concord Historical Society hosted a workshop for string musicians and a dance. The workshop started at 2pm with a panel presentation and featured the music and history of two fiddles at the WCHS museum, which date prior to the 1900's.
At 6:30pm there was a free dance with music by the New Quackenbush String Band. The featured guest artist, fiddler and dancer was Beth Hoven Rotto. The attendees enjoyed old time polkas, schottisches and waltzes.
