There is a fundraiser competition MVP Space Race disc golf on Friday November 6th at the new 18 basket course at Lion’s Park in Kasson. Registration ends at 6pm Friday. The addition of 9 new baskets to the course has just been completed and this weekend will be the first time on the expanded course. This will be the 4th annual Space Race and they light the course like none other and usually sell out spots for the event.
The city has donated matching funds up to $10,000 and the fundraiser is to generate donations to receive it. Volunteers have been instrumental in getting the course complete and operational.
